CANARA BANK a Scheduled Bank, established in July, 1906 and having its registered office at Canara Bank, Head Office, 5th Floor, 112, JC Road, Bangalore – 560002, shall act as trustee to the Trust viz., CANARA BANK VENTURE DEVELOPMENT TRUST (A trust organised in India and [registered] with the Securities and Exchange Board of India as a Category II Alternative Investment Fund) under which the Fund has been launched as its first scheme. The principal office of the Trust is located at Bengaluru.

CANARA BANK is also the Sponsor and Settlor to the "ELECTRONIC DEVELOPMENT FUND (EDF)".

Pursuant to the Investment Management Agreement, the Trustee has delegated the management and administration activities of the Fund to the Investment Manager viz., CANBANK VENTURE CAPITAL FUND LTD.
